All Genie/Pro model garage door openers come with a one piece rail system for strength, security and reliability which makes installation simple and less confusing than retail model garage door openers. With the one piece rail system it usually only requires two bolts to assemble the rail system to the motor head and then ready to install to your garage door. (Remember...retail model garage door openers come in multiple rail parts and require assembly first....Pro models are one piece, pre assembled ready for installation)

What is Intellicode®? |
Intellicode rolling code technology provides state-of-the-art security for your home by automatically changing your access code every time you push the garage door opener remote control button. This prevents an unauthorized person from capturing the access code to your garage door opener system and gaining entry to your garage.
Here's how it works: Conventional garage door openers are coded to send out the same fixed code time after time. A rolling code system uses a proprietary coding system that selects a new code from 4.3 billion possible combinations each time the system is activated.
This system is easy to program and has been incorporated into Genie garage door openers produced since 1995.

HomeLink is a factory installed remote control transmitter option found in a growing number of automobiles. The HomeLink transmitter is usually found on an automobile visor and is ready to open and close any Genie garage door opener with Intellicode. There is no need to purchase additional transmitters.
